Reconnect Regal is Coming to The Fringe
We are delighted to announce our upcoming Edinburgh Fringe debut with three incredible shows from August 4th–27th at Hill Street Theatre (venue 41).
In our first show, Revenge is a dish best served cold. This thrilling rock opera is a brand-new musical. Enjoy Alexandre Dumas’ classic tale, The Count of Monte Cristo, as you’ve never seen it before. Starring Lewis Carlyon as Edmond, the show is written by our artistic director Pete Sneddon and directed by Mark Geary-Fairbairn. Will vengeance destroy Edmond’s soul, or will he be able to escape his deadly thirst for revenge?
Also written by Pete Sneddon and this time directed by Mark Geary-Fairbairn, Ripper the musical explores societal trauma during the notorious 1880s Whitechapel murders. Join police detective Frederick Abberline, (played by Owen Redmond) as he tries to bring the brutal murderer to justice and save his beloved Mary (Shannon Daly). But could the killer be closer than he thinks?
Our final show for 2023 is The Grandfathers by Rory Mullarkey. We are so excited that The Grandfathers has been nominated for the Leading Lights and Bright Sparks awards by Scottish Theatre Awards. In this hard-hitting play, the playwright explores the brutal reality of forced conscription. See the impact on the lives of Kol, Val, Kost, Stas, Dim, Lev, Sash and Zhen through their preparation for the front line and deployment. ‘Your country called you up, and you came!’
Tickets for all three shows are available here.
